Parchment Paper or Aluminum Foil

Pastry Brush or Basting Brush

Oven

Grill (Optional)

Tongs or Fork

Directions

Step 1

Preheat the oven to 275°F (135°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper or aluminum foil.

Step 2

In a large mixing bowl, mix the hot Italian sausage meat.

Step 3

Take one shrimp at a time and carefully wrap it with a portion of the seasoned Italian sausage meat. Press the sausage meat firmly around the shrimp to make sure it sticks.

Step 4

Repeat the process with the rest of the shrimp and sausage meat until all the shrimp are wrapped.

Step 5

Place the wrapped shrimp on the prepared baking sheet, leaving a little space between each one.

Step 6

Lightly brush the shrimp bombs with olive oil. This will help them brown nicely during cooking.

Step 7

Bake the shrimp bombs in the preheated oven for about 1 hour or until the sausage is cooked through and has developed a beautiful golden brown color.

Step 8

Once done, remove the shrimp bombs from the oven and let them cool slightly before serving.
